Concussion and Other Injury Information

The Highland Park Athletic Department has a secondary insurance policy available for students injured in UIL and school-sponsored extracurricular activities and events.  This policy cannot be utilized until the injured participant’s primary insurance has been completely exhausted.  The insurance policy also has a $500.00 deductible that must be met before the secondary insurance can be used.  The injury must be documented with the Highland Park athletic trainers. Insurance forms are available in the athletic training room and must be filled out by one of the athletic trainers.  The insurance claim must be filed within 90 days of the injury.  If there are any questions please call the athletic training room.
