hey there a tree family on dr. Mike Rockwood and you were watching Rockwood remarks first and foremost a big thank you to the city of University Park for hosting its annual youth Town Hall this event is a great opportunity for young people in the Park Cities to engage and interact with both district and government officials not to mention it's another example of the strong partnership that we have with our Municipal Neighbors know that we are already looking forward to another great event at this time next year meanwhile I'd like to congratulate Highlander band Captain true bonobo who was one of only 12 high schoolers in the nation to qualify for the classical saxophone finals ribbon and perform next month in Oklahoma and we certainly wish him all the best at this prestigious event and speaking of musical Talent the Highland Park Middle School choir recently took Center Court at a Dallas Mavericks home game are Raiders beautifully sang the national anthem in front of a packed house and represented our community so well at a huge huge venue and finally it's already a big year for HP baseball as the team retired not just one but two World Series champions congratulations to both Chris Young and Clayton Kershaw on their official HP Jersey retirement these men have both reached the Pinnacle of the Sports World and we are certainly proud that called them Scott well that's it for this month's Rockwood remarks remember and hpisd we enter to learn and go for the sir
