We celebrate "Every Student, Every Day," here in Highland Park ISD. Jack Murzin started at Hyer Elementary and will be a senior this year at HPHS. We're proud of Jack and how his presence through the years has enriched the lives of everyone around him.

Jack is at a beautiful 17 year old boy he's special needs he's been in a wheelchair his whole life he's a varsity basketball manager he's a and everybody and always has an infectious smile he comes he watches all of our practices it comes to all of our games Kia refilled or water bottles on the side gets water gets his towels vigilante relajarte District since first grade Jack was a higher husky he was hpms and Mis and now he's at Highland Park High School I think one thing that makes our school district grade is that we have the inclusiveness to be able to include like Jack and everyday activities like sports like basketball We Came as a typical 17 year old kid that just needs a little help he loves all the social interaction he loves school dances you love sporting events and and loves to be around people he really just makes everyone happy it's it's like one of those guys one of those friends that you know every day going to see him you're going to he's going to make your day he's never negative and really that just makes my day and people around the high school today using art as therapy is really and where my passion lies gives everyone a voice whether or not they choose to use their actual Voice or they cannot rely on medium through the art classroom to do that for them color paint sculpture and Clay things like that I think it's important for everyone to have that opportunity he's always there to listen no matter what about having a rough day I like I just talked to him about it and it's really nice to have him there to listen yeah I think it's really going to hurt you in any kind of comes together in late I just like a sparkling Squad like that include ways have things for everyone to do as well and septic have one kind of back by the community is always something going on that help our community in Lake peer tutors and everyone be included and then what's going on and not like anybody else think it's really important to have that in the community such a small community growing up with each other from the elementary school pretty much half your life in the same people so mean it's important to Toyota Bachelor up I think people should get into reach out and get to know Jack version cuz he can really make it a huge positive difference in your life was just a fun person to be around Highland Park Independent School District has been extremely wonderful at the students the administrators the teachers with inclusion you see the selfless acts of these kids when they come by when they're at school with him and a great place to raise a family to typical one special needs we feel like the the family next door so it is a great place to be
