Dr. Shorr Heathcote

Dr. Shorr Heathcote joined Highland Park ISD as the Deputy Superintendent in May 2023. She oversees principal leadership, athletics, communications, human resources, and student services.

 

Dr. Heathcote previously served as the Chief Administrative Officer and the Chief Academic Officer in Lake Dallas ISD. Over her career, she has also served as an Executive Director, Director, campus administrator, and teacher in Midlothian ISD and Dallas ISD.

 

Dr. Heathcote earned a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Baylor University, a master’s degree from Lamar University, and a bachelor’s degree from Texas Woman’s University.
