Scott Drillette

Scott Drillette currently serves as Interim Assistant Superintendent of Business Services for Highland Park ISD, after previously serving nearly five years in this role. He oversees the district’s business operations, including budget, purchasing, payroll, PEIMS, and food services.

 

Drillette joined HPISD from Dallas ISD, where he served as Deputy Chief Financial Officer. In that role, he led six departments spanning budget, financial services, procurement, payroll, treasury services, and risk management. He has also held similar leadership positions in Dripping Springs, Manor, and Brock ISDs.

 

An educator at heart, Drillette brings nearly 20 years of experience in educational administration and leadership. He began his career as a high school math teacher and has since served as an assistant principal, principal, athletic director, and director of payroll. He also spent eight years in the private sector as a general manager and CFO in the waste and recycling industry.

 

Drillette earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in Educational Administration from Tarleton State University. He and his wife, Amy, a retired educator, have been married for  35 years and have three children and six grandchildren.
