Election Information
The Highland Park ISD Board of Trustees consists of seven members, each of whom is elected to serve a three-year term. Board members are entrusted with the responsibility of setting policy and promoting educational excellence in Highland Park ISD and receive no compensation. While candidates run for specific places, they do not represent specific geographical areas. Elections are conducted annually in May.
Candidates may pick up a packet and/or file for the School Board election at the HPISD Administration Annex Building located at 6915 Westchester Drive, Dallas, TX 75205 during office hours, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. The filing window opens on Wednesday, January 16, and closes at 5 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2026.
