Families of 3- and 4-year-olds can register for HPISD’s 2026–27 Preschool Program beginning at 8:00 AM on Friday, October 10, 2025. An informational session will be held on Thursday, October 9, from 9–10 AM at the Clements Leadership Center.

The Texas Education Agency has released its 2025 A–F Accountability Ratings, and Highland Park ISD has earned the top spot among all 5A/6A public school districts in the state.

At its regular meeting on June 17, the Highland Park ISD Board of Trustees approved the 2025-26 compensation plan, including a 7% raise to midpoint for all district staff and additional increases for teachers with 5+ years of experience.

At the Tuesday, May 13 regular school board meeting, the Board of Trustees appointed the following individuals to serve as new board officers.

During the Tuesday, May 13 regular school board meeting, Highland Park ISD officially swore in trustees Bryce Benson, Ellen Lee, and Michael Denton to serve three-year terms. Benson (Place 3) and Lee (Place 5) were reelected in the May election, while Denton was elected as the new trustee for Place 4.

At the May 13 school board meeting, Highland Park ISD honored outgoing Trustee Jae Ellis for his six years of dedicated service and leadership. Ellis, a proud alumnus and longtime supporter of HPISD, was recognized for his unwavering commitment to students, staff, and the broader HP community.
