Extended School Day Information

• ESD is offered by The Academy for Lifelong Learning (A.L.L.) of HPISD and is available for students PK – 8 at their school day campuses

• PK-4th grade students receive care from their dismissal time of 3:15 p.m.  Older children join the ESD program as they are dismissed from class. The program includes a snack, quiet time for homework, and supervised group play. ESD ends promptly at 6:00 p.m. each day and follows the HPISD calendar. Part-time enrollment is not available.

• Open enrollment begins Wednesday, April 1, 2026. Starting with the 2026-2027 school year, registration will now be conducted online. Once the registration form has been submitted, your child’s Skyward account will be updated, and the registration fee will be activated. You will receive an email to login and pay the registration fee.

• The Early Bird Registration fee is $100 per child. Registration fee will increase to $300 after April 30, 2026.

• Monthly tuition payments of $600 will begin September 1, 2026. Payments are due on the first day of each month and are payable online through your child’s Skyward account, or by personal check, ACH, bank-drafted check, or money order in the A.L.L. office.

• Registrations must be received in the A.L.L. office by 4:00 p.m., Thursday, August 13, 2026, to begin the program on the first day of school, August 19, 2026.
