Inclusive Schools Week is an annual event sponsored by the Inclusive Schools Network (ISN) and is held each year during the first full week in December.

The Highland Park Lady Scots cross country team captured fourth place at the 2018 UIL 5A State Cross Country Championship Meet

A victory parade has been scheduled by the City of University Park and Town of Highland Park to honor the 2018 3-peat State Champion Highland Park football and tennis teams. As in previous years, the community celebration will be a fun event for the entire family.

HPISD will host a forum for the community to develop a better understanding of the state's public school funding formula.

The Highland Park Scots dominated undefeated Denton Ryan 43-21 Saturday in the state semifinals and will face Alvin Shadow Creek this weekend in their quest for a third consecutive state championship.

In an electrifying finish, the Scots came back from a 21-point fourth-quarter deficit to score four unanswered touchdowns Saturday and defeat Tyler John Tyler 42-35 in the UIL 5A Division I regional final.

The HP Scots took the next step toward their third consecutive 5A state championship by defeating Mansfield Timberview 52-7 on Saturday. The Scots will now face Tyler John Tyler at 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8.
