Scots advance to 3rd round; play Mansfield Timberview this Saturday at The Star

After defeating College Station 28-20, the Scots will continue their quest for a third consecutive 5A state championship at 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 1 against Mansfield Timberview at The Star. This is the third-round game in the UIL 5A Division I playoffs. Click here for the playoff bracket.
 
"Scot fans showed up in large numbers in Waco and definitely impacted the outcome of the game due to their tremendous support," HPISD Athletic Director Johnny Ringo said. "We need to fill all 6,000 seats available to us on Saturday. Remember, when you play one of us, you play all of us! See you Saturday!"
 
Tickets: Advance tickets are on sale now through www.seatgeek.com. All tickets are general admission and may be purchased online for $12 each with an additional $1.99 per ticket transaction fee. Tickets will also be sold on game day for $15 at The Star. Tickets are not available for purchase at the Highlander Stadium athletic office.
 
Parking: Parking is free and available in the Cowboys Blue/Silver Garages and the Gridiron/Gaylord lots. The Scots are the home team for the game and will be seated on the east side of the stadium. 
 
Bag Policy: All bags must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC totes that do not exceed 12x6x12 inches in size. Bags may be one-gallon clear plastic freezer bags. Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, will be permitted with and without a strap.

Attention Scot Football Fans: Saturday's broadcast of the Highland Park vs. Mansfield Timberview Regional Semifinal Playoff Game from The Star in Frisco will be carried by KWRD 100.7 FM "The Word" (for fans listening at home or anywhere in the DFW area) and on the Smart Bug, 1670 AM and 100.7 FM (for fans who are in attendance at The Star). For Scots Fans anywhere else in the world, you can access the live internet broadcast in one of three ways:
  1. Go to the App Store and download KWRD-FM (free download). Once the app is open, click on the "forward arrow" in the lower left-hand corner of the page to be taken to our live broadcast.
  2. Go to https://thewordfm.com
  3. Click on the "Forward Arrow" (in a circle) at the top of the page next to "Now Playing".
  4. On the next page, click on the small "forward arrow" at the upper left corner (to the right of "The Word 100.7 FM" logo).
  5. Do NOT click the "START NOW" green bar. This will take you to the wrong location.
  6. Volume control is to the immediate right of the small forward arrow or small square box at top left of the page.
  7. Go to https://hpscotsradio.com and look for the "Football Wearing a Headset" icon. Click there to be taken to our live broadcast of the game.

Please remember, this internet option is for anyone who is NOT in the stands. If you are in the stands in Frisco and try to listen on your smartphone, the broadcast will be delayed by 10-20 seconds.

Fans in attendance at The Star in Frisco who wish to receive the game broadcast in real time (with no delay) should tune a transistor radio to 1670 AM for the "in-house" broadcast (usually a weak signal), 100.7 FM (better signal) or purchase a Smart Bug radio (much better signal) prior to game day.
