HPISD voters elect 3 to serve on Board of Trustees

Both Woodward and Bonfield will serve three-year terms, while Benson will serve a one-year term.

 

Place 1 Trustee-elect Woodward replaces former Board President Jim Hitzelberger who is retiring after serving four three-year terms on the board. Place 2 Trustee-elect Bonfield replaces former Board Secretary Lee Michaels who served two three-year terms. Trustee-elect Benson will fill the unexpended one-year term created when former Board Vice-president Kelly Walker chose to retire from community service last December.

Trustees will be sworn in to office during the next School Board meeting on Tuesday, May 18, 2021. Thank you to each candidate who ran to serve as a trustee and to all HPISD voters who participated in the process.
