Placement is determined by student enrollment and evaluated for possible realignment bi-annually by UIL.
Highland Park High School football remains in the 5A Division 1 conference and is now slated to compete in District 7. This pairs the football team against schools from Longview, McKinney, Sherman, Tyler, Mesquite and Wylie. The Scot volleyball and basketball teams will compete in Conference 5A, Region 2, District 13 against schools from Crandall, Forney, Greenville, Forney, Royse City and two schools from Mesquite.
