HPHS students Harrison Piering and Elijah Son were recognized at the Feb. 14 School Board meeting for their All-State fine arts placements. Piering was selected to perform with the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) All-State Tenor-Bass Choir, and Son earned a spot in the TMEA All-State Symphonic Band.
Both students received a certificate for their achievement and shook hands with Superintendent Dr. Tom Trigg and the HPISD School Board. Piering and Son will attend clinics and perform in concert at the annual TMEA Convention this month in San Antonio.
