Highland Park High School student chairs of the HP 109 Centennial Dance presented HPISD trustees with a check totaling $300,000 at the Dec. 13 school board meeting. The gift exceeded the group’s fundraising goal and is the largest contribution it has made to HPISD. The funds will benefit HPHS, specifically for teachers and staff. The HP109 Chairs are Shelby Sides who was unable to attend the board meeting, Colin Hale, Vivian Downie, Max Sloan, Charlya Williams and Judge Ellis.
