hey there HP family I'm Doctor Mike Rockwood and you're watching Rockwood remarks first and foremost Happy New Year I hope you had a restful and relaxing holiday season but at the same time we are so energized for 2024 and all of the great things that are in store right here in hpisd and speaking of the New Year be sure to check out our 2024 2025 academic out which was recently approved by our school board a big thank you to all of our parents staff and stakeholders Who provided input on this process you can learn more about the calendar online by visiting hbisd. Org and finally G where is School Board recognition month in hpisd and this year's theme is locally elected community connected honestly I could not think of a more appropriate being 47 elected trustees each and everyone is committed to ensuring our you didn't have the very best educational opportunities and the board is certainly a huge part of our success if you see any of our trustees out and about this month please be sure to thank them for their service and for a job well.
