Chris Scott

Assistant Superintendent of Business Services

Chris Scott joined Highland Park ISD as Assistant Superintendent for Business Services in June 2026. In this role, he oversees the district’s business operations, including budgeting, purchasing, payroll, PEIMS, and food services.

With more than 30 years in education, Scott began his career as a teacher and campus administrator before transitioning into school finance over 20 years ago. Prior to joining HPISD, he served as Chief Financial Officer for Eanes ISD for 10 years.

Scott earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Tarleton State University. He and his wife, Dawn, have been married for 35 years and have four children.
