Mission/Purpose: Address the mental health issues affecting our youth and our community and serve as a resource by creating a culture committed to increasing awareness and improving quality of life.

  • For Staff:
    • How to address social and emotional learning
  • For Students:
    • How to deal with emotions
    • How to help each other

2.    Awareness

  • Erase the stigma of talking about mental health issues
  • Address suicide awareness

3.    Resources and Communication

  • Create and organize resources for the community posted in a central location
  • Serve as a conduit of spreading the word about mental health
  • Collect feedback for task force initiatives
  • Provide parent/student resources that are available 24/7
