Welcome from Superintendent Dr. Tom Trigg

Welcome to Highland Park ISD!

It is my distinct privilege to welcome you to the Highland Park Independent School District. This school district has a proud tradition of excellence dating back to its formation in 1914.

We have eight outstanding schools: five elementary (Grades K-4) schools (Armstrong, Boone, Bradfield, Hyer and University Park), McCulloch Intermediate School (Grades 5-6), Highland Park Middle School (Grades 7-8) and Highland Park High School (Grades 9-12). The teachers and staff at our schools are both highly-skilled and caring, and the support we are fortunate to receive from our community of parents, alumni, patrons, and so many organizations is second to none.

Many of our alums go on to become leaders in their fields including medicine, law, philanthropy, science, academia, the arts, athletics, and business. It is why we believe so strongly in continuing to instill the ideals of Enter to Learn, Go Forth to Serve in every student who attends our schools.

Dr. Trigg-1st day

Here in Highland Park ISD, our goal is to provide a welcoming, inclusive, respectful and safe environment that prepares all of our graduates to be successful in their future endeavors. I look forward to seeing you at one of our schools. Go Scots!
