Dallas CASA Playhouse Project
The Environmental Architecture students of the Moody Advanced Professional Studies at Highland Park High School, led by their instructors Yvette Hightower and Jeff Barrows are pleased to present the 2022 Highland Park/Lee Lewis Dallas CASA Playhouse. Students in the Environmental Architecture class interpreted 100-year-old construction drawings of the WIlliams House located in University Park and designed the replica as a final project. The home has recently been purchased by Jan and Trevor Rees-Jones who have begun restoration work and will preserve the Texas-Regional style home as it has been identified as the most important house in Texas.

Students developed this project, the playhouse and matching dollhouse, in partnership with Lee Lewis, Stantec and Preservation Park Cities. We also want to thank the Barrett Family who contributed funds towards the construction cost, Dobson Roofing and Westside Construction Services. For their expertise in the classroom, in the design and construction of the project, we thank Taylor Armstrong, Bob Clark and Larry Good.
The Moody Advanced Professional Studies program equips students with a post-secondary competitive edge by connecting rigorous, interdisciplinary coursework with professional, industry-relevant experiences.
