Back to School Plan 2021-22
The Back to School Plan was developed with the health and safety of our students, staff and community as the district's top priority and is subject to change based on local, regional and state guidance. Minor updates to the plan were made Jan. 4 in preparation to safely welcome students and staff back from winter break.
Updates reflect the new five-day quarantine period recommended by the CDC guidelines. The previous 10-day isolation requirement has changed to a minimum of five days for students and staff with a COVID diagnosis or exposure to COVID. Individuals must be cleared to return by the school nurse. Re-entry after five days can occur provided the student or staff member is asymptomatic or their symptoms are resolving after the five days. In addition, individuals who return to campus after the five days will be asked, but not required, to wear a mask for five days after returning to school, in accordance with the CDC guidelines.
Pages 14-17 of the Back to School Plan provide a complete list of all changes and updates made to the document since it was first published Aug. 12.
