COVID-19 Symptoms

As always, please watch for symptoms of COVID-19. Any of the following symptoms indicate a possible COVID-19 infection:

  • Temperature of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher
  • Sore throat, congestion, runny nose
  • New or worsening cough or shortness of breath (or, for students with a chronic allergic/asthmatic cough, a change in their cough from baseline)
  • Diarrhea and/or vomiting
  • New onset of severe headache, especially with a fever
  • Loss of taste or smell

If you or any member of the Highland Park ISD community begins experiencing any of these symptoms in a way that is not typical, you are encouraged to contact your physician and the school nurse at your child's campus.
