Family Curriculum Guides

Highland Park ISD’s curriculum resources provide a clear, thoughtful overview of what students learn throughout the year. Developed in collaboration with our teachers and grounded in HPISD’s curriculum frameworks, these materials highlight key concepts, skills, and learning progressions across grade levels. Together, they reflect our commitment to academic excellence and a well-rounded student experience.

Below, you will find curriculum resources organized by grade level.

Family Curriculum Guides

Family Curriculum Guides (FCGs) provide an overview of what your child is learning in the current nine-weeks grading period. These guides also provide information and access to additional information about steps you can take at home to help your child achieve success by supporting their academic growth. Family Curriculum Guides are created with teachers and aligned to the HPISD Frameworks and curriculum documents.

In addition to Family Curriculum Guides, Year-at-a-Glance are posted for each grade level. These documents provide an overview and an approximate number of days spent in each area. The number of days will vary based on the needs of the students in each class. The number of days accounts for testing, special projects, and other campus activities.

If you have questions or concerns reach out to your child's teacher and they can provide additional details.
