Back to School Sign Up (BSSU) and Annual Proof of Residency (APOR) open July 30
Back to School Sign Up begins at 9 a.m. July 30, 2026. Your BSSU login is the same as your Skyward Family Access login.
Parents of newly enrolled students: Please log in to BSSU using the Skyward credentials you received during enrollment. To find your login information, search for an email from mplus@hpisd.org in your inbox with a subject line of “Complete Student Enrollment”.
If you cannot find your username or password, select the "click here" link on the BSSU portal. Enter the email address you used during enrollment, and your login information will be sent to you. If you are still having trouble obtaining your login information, please get in touch with your campus or our help desk at 214-780-4040.
For one-household families, only one parent or guardian can log in to complete BSSU. Once one parent logs in, the students are attached to that user in the system until the BSSU process is complete.
For two-household families, one parent or guardian from each household should log in and complete BSSU.
Important note: The family listed as the first household is required to complete BSSU. If you are listed as a student’s second household, you may complete BSSU using your own username if you wish to sign up for e-newsletters, make purchases such as yearbooks, pledge donations, etc. If the second household only wishes to submit information to be included in the school directory, go to HPISD Campus Directory to submit the information.
Annual Back to School Sign Up is a process that each family completes online every August. During this annual online process, you will update family information and required documents as well as have the opportunity to pay for supplies, yearbooks, directories, spirit wear, etc. BSSU also allows parents a convenient one-stop-shop to provide important information to HPISD, its PTAs, and other support organizations.
BSSU payments may be made with either credit cards or ACH e-checks. Using ACH payments saves you and the PTAs money on transaction fees because the ACH convenience fee is only $1.50 for your entire order. Credit card convenience fees are based on the total amount of the order and are currently being reviewed.

BSSU Help Desk Information
The Back to School Sign Up help desk and lab will be open for your convenience from 9 a.m-4 p.m. July 30-31 and August 3-7 in the HPISD Business Services Annex Conference Room, 6915 Westchester Drive. HPISD staff and volunteers will be available in the lab to assist you. Technical support will also be available by phone at 214-780-4040 or by email at myhponline@hpisd.org during help desk hours.
