Enrollment
Thank you for your interest in enrolling your child in Highland Park ISD. HPISD welcomes students who meet district residency requirements and State of Texas age and health guidelines. Students must reside within district boundaries to attend HPISD schools.
Use the resources on this page to confirm your address, review important information, and select the enrollment path that best fits your situation.
For unique residency situations, please contact your student’s future school office at the elementary level, the counseling office at the secondary level, or the Director of Student Services.
Let’s get started.

BSSU & Annual Residency Requirements
Each July, families complete Annual Back-to-School Sign Up (BSSU) through Skyward. During this process, you will:
-
Update family information and required documents
-
Submit annual proof of residency
-
Pay for optional items such as supplies, yearbooks, directories, and spirit wear
Your Skyward login and password will be used to complete this process. Please click here to visit the BSSU page.
For residency verification, if your documents from enrollment are current, you will only need to submit a new water or electric bill. If documents are incomplete or do not match, additional documentation will be required.
Re-Enroll a Returning Student
If your student previously attended HPISD and is returning to the same school, please contact the campus to reactivate your Skyward account; if your student is returning to a different HPISD school, log in to Skyward and complete the enrollment process for the new campus.
Set Up Skyward Account
