TAG Referrals (New Students)

Students new to HPISD may be referred for TAG testing within three weeks of enrollment. Students enrolling in spring/summer for the next academic year will be tested in August or once school begins. You will be contacted by your campus TAG Specialist or Coordinator to set up testing after they have received your referral.

Students may NOT test twice in the same academic year, therefore if a student tests directly after enrollment, they are NOT eligible for spring, district-wide testing. They must wait until the Spring of the following school year. Parents have the option of delaying referral until spring, once their students are acclimated.

New student referrals are now closed. If your child enrolled in Highland Park schools after the first 3 weeks of school, contact your campus Coordinator for the referral link. Email addresses for each TAG Specialist/Coordinator can be found on the TAG Staff page.
