Birth to Age 3:

Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) provides comprehensive early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers (birth through 36 months of age) who have a medical diagnosis or exhibit delays in speech, feeding, motor development, cognition, and social behavior. Early intervention services are provided as required by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Part C. ECI helps families to help their children reach their potential through developmentally appropriate services at home, daycare, or the center. ECI provides evaluations to determine eligibility and need for services, provides needed therapies and family guidance and support, and assists with transition to other services by age 3. ECI services for families living in HPISD are provided by The Warren Center.
