Scots advance to 5A Division I State Semifinal

The Scots defeated Mansfield Lake Ridge in a 37-35 nail-biter Friday night, and will now advance to face undefeated Denton Ryan in the 5A Division I State Semifinal round of the UIL playoffs. The game is a rematch of last year's semifinal, which the Scots won 31-24. Kick-off is at 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15 at AT&T Stadium.
Advance tickets are available online from Ticketmaster for $13.80, or for $15 at the AT&T Stadium Ticket Office at Entry A from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Thursday and from 9 a.m.-end of games on Friday. Tickets will not be sold at the HPISD Athletic Office.
Parking will be available for $10 per car when paid by credit card on site or $15 per car when paid by cash on site in lots 1, 2, 3 or 10. Parking lots and ticket booths will open at 3 p.m., and the stadium gates C or H will open at 4 p.m.
The Scots are the visiting team and HP fans will be seated on the north side of the stadium.

Football Head Coach Randy Allen and Athletic Director Johnny Ringo appreciate the awesome support from Scots fans who have attended the playoff games. They are urging all HP fans to come to AT&T on Friday to support the Scots when they play Denton Ryan.
Additionally, the game will be carried on 103.3 FM ESPN for fans listening inside of AT&T Stadium or in the DFW area. For fans listening outside of the DFW Metroplex (or anywhere in the world), outside of radio range, go to your smartphone or computer and search then click on the small "Play Arrow (>)" in the upper left-hand corner of the ESPN web-page.
Please remember, this is for anyone who is NOT in the stands. If you are in the stands at AT&T Stadium and try to listen on your smartphone, the broadcast will be delayed by 10-20 seconds. Fans in the stadium who wish to receive the game broadcast in real time should tune-in a transistor radio to 103.3 FM ESPN. Pre-Game Show starts at 8:00 PM with Kickoff at 9:00 PM.
