In November 2015, HPISD voters approved a $361 million bond proposal - the largest in the district's history. As a result of the election, the district will build its first new elementary school since 1948, rebuild Bradfield, Hyer and UP Elementary schools, and renovate Armstrong Elementary, McCulloch Intermediate, Highland Park Middle School and Highland Park High School.
The next few years promise to be an exciting time for Highland Park ISD as it begins the process of transforming mid-20th century schools into educational centers designed to empower young learners for the future. HPISD is committed to transparency, and this webpage will serve as a clearinghouse to keep the community informed about the latest facility news and updates. This page and following subpages will continue to be updated as new information and documents become available, so please check back often.
