Special Education Parent Advisory Committee

The Special Education Parent Advisory Committee is committed to working in partnership with parents, the schools, and the district. The committee, which is comprised of parent liaisons from each campus and other community members, meets monthly. Those who have a child receiving special education services and wish to voice concerns or seek information from a parent perspective, please contact the appropriate campus representative.

Highland Park High School presents the 2cd annual Transition Fair. Come join us to hear more about post‐secondary opportunities, vocational training, independent living, community involvement, continuing education and integrated employment. Over 40 vendors will be present to share information. Here are only a few:

Richland Community College, DARS, CHAI, My Possibilities, Mosaic,  Bachman Therapeutic Center, H.E.R.O.E.S. Summer Camp, REACH, SMU-DASS (Disability Accommodations and Success Strategies), Challenge Air Events,Autism Treatment Center, Region 10,Center of Texas and Daymark Living.
