Lisa Wilson was named Highland Park ISD's Assistant Superintendent for Education Services in November 2016, and she officially took over the position in January 2017.
Wilson has nearly 30 years of experience as a school administrator and teacher. She most recently served as the Director of Assessment and Research in the Blue Valley School District in Overland Park, Kansas. She has also served as an Associate Principal for Curriculum and Instruction, a Lead District Coordinating Teacher, and an English and Communication Arts Teacher, all for Blue Valley.
Wilson has been a member of several educational organizations, including the Board of Directors for the National Board for Certified Teachers of Kansas, the Kansas Advanced Placement Council, and the Kansas Assessment Advisory Council.
Wilson earned her bachelor's degree in Secondary English Education from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and her Master of Education from MidAmerica Nazarene University.
